FRSITO has industry specific accreditation requirements listed for NZQA accreditation criteria which complement the general requirements expressed by NZQA.
These specific requirements have been established to assure FRSITO and the industry that the applicant organisation will be a provider of quality the provides trainees with a safe training environment that meets OSH and industry requirements ffor assessment against Community and Workplace Fire and Emergency Management, Fire and Rescue and Specialist Rescue unit stnadards.
