QMAG provides the National Manager and the Board of FRSITO with expert advice and recommendations on issues of quality systems and process
The key responsibilities of QMAG are to:
Development and review of appropriate Accreditation and Moderation Action Plans that define specific industry requirements relating to the 8 accreditation criteria for the accreditation of providers.
Development and review of appropriate Moderation System/s.
Monitoring the development and publishing of the National Moderation report and practice/assessment notes.
Approval of documentation to gain accreditation from NZQA to register work place assessors.
Oversight of the training and registration of assessors and moderators.
Oversight of the development of assessment instruments (eg. Common Assessment Tasks, RUSAT) that can assist in achieving consistent assessment.
