The Policy, Planning and Finance Advisory Group is established by the EMQUAL Board as a representative group of Board members to provide urgent approval or advice.

The key responsibilities of PPFAG are to:

• assist the Board in the development and monitoring of funding and planning decisions
• make final recommendations to the Board on policy
• work with the Chief Executive Officer, the Training Advisory group, the Quality Management group and any ad hoc working groups to develop and review EMQUAL’s policies and procedures
• work with the Chief Executive Officer and any of the above groups on strategic planning recommendations to the Board
• monitor the implementation of the EMQUAL Charter
• monitor the implementation of the EMQUAL strategic plan
• oversee the financial performance of EMQUAL
• receive and review all financial reports
• make recommendations on financial performance and funding to the Board
